My BFF costs $10.99 at Target

In order to survive as a freshmen in this life size snow globe, Syracuse University, you need to bring:
snow boots, gloves, a Starbucks gift card and a planner! Your planner will be your BFF, your assistant, your wing man, your baby, your everything! A planner will help you be organized, punctual and responsible. Invest in a planner and experience the positive benefits today! It's like having little people helping you accomplish your everyday tasks by leaving you post it notes on every page of your planner. They read: study for math test, job interview, project due, mom's birthday, start on essay

A planner serves as a visual aid that informs you of deadlines, important dates and lets you plan for a killer scheme to pass an exam. By identifying the exam date weeks in advance, you can chunk the studying time periodically instead of cramming the night before. D'S DUE AND DO ORGANIZER is a strategy that compliments the use of a planner. Follow these steps: 1)Identify all due dates for all the courses, found in the syllabus. 2) Write in your planner's monthly calendar all the due dates for exams, project deadline and all assignments that will be graded. 3)Divide each day of your weekly calendar into two columns labeled: DUE and DO. 4) Write in your due dates of all assignment on the DUE column in your weekly calendar. 5) Estimate the time that you will need to complete each assignment and divide it into small units. 6) Write each assignment unit in the DO columns during the week you plan to do the assignment in your weekly calendar.

The finished product should look similar to this:

The strategy: D'S DUE AND DO ORGANIZER is easy to use. I noticed that next week is going to be busy! I have three exams, a paper and a PSA to produce plus a website. I feel more organized and prepared for my courses, now that I use my planner to it's fullest potential. I like to color code my courses and write BIG, so that everything is noticeable.

FROZEN IN TIME
After class, I use to roam around in the book store, spend an hour eating at the dining hall or go back home to take a power nap. I always started my homework at the earliest 8pm. I would go to sleep at 3am and wake up at 8am for class. Time seemed like it just flew by in a matter of seconds. Yes, I am also a HUGE PROCRASTINATOR and all of the above, but I still deserve to know who eats all my time off my plate! If you suffer from the same disease, procrastination, a strategy that may cure you is the FRITTER FINDER.
This strategy helps you identify your free time and forces you to acknowledge all the time you spend being unproductive. Follow these steps: 1) Print out a weekly schedule with your courses included. 2) Color the non-class time. 3) Determine daily and weekly fritter time. 4) Decide how to use the fritter time you have identified.

My schedule this semester allows me to sleep until 11am! Instead, I wake up at 7:40am and attend a class called Power Hour at 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also, have breakfast every day and have an hour to do homework. This is another visual aid that highlights free time.
Instead of letting time fly by, FREEZE TIME in your favor.

I also really liked your title and how you started your blog, very creative. “My schedule this semester allows me to sleep until 11am! 3. You seem really organized and ontop of your schedule. It's good you realized that you weren't making good use of your time and you made changes to your lifestyle so that you can be a more successful student.
